Funds advised by Motion Equity Partners announces the construction by DIANA of a new site in Russia

    As part of its growth and international strategy, the DIANA group’s Pet Food division and its SPF activity, worldwide leader in palatability enhancers production for dogs and cats, announces the construction of a new industrial site in Belgorod, Russia. This new settlement allows DIANA to get closer to its customers and to perform in a high growth local market.

    Indeed, the Russian Pet Food market is among the ten fastest growing markets in the world, with 7% annual growth. Main hogs and poultry breeding region, the Belgorod area offers many opportunities and benefits for the DIANA group’s Pet Food division, for which proximity to a pool of fresh raw materials is essential. The company, created in June 2010, obtained the required licences to begin the site construction during the month of July.

    « Our presence in Russia is perfectly in line with our organic growth and international development strategy via supporting our customers’ growth: The Closer, the Better. We plan to finish the construction works by June 2013 in order to supply our customers from the second half of 2013. A local team managed by Jean-François Laudouze, Director of the new Russian site, is currently being set up to oversee all the project’s technical aspects and liaise with the different local partners. In the medium term, 15 to 20 people will work on the site » indicates Jean-Pierre Rivery, President of the Group’s Pet Food division.

    This new site of the DIANA group’s Pet Food division will supply its customers with innovative and high quality palatability enhancers, in the same standards as the other 12 production facilities rooted in the whole world.
