Motion Equity Partners announces the promotion of Aurian de Villenfagne as Investment Manager, Pamela Duka as Associate, and Oscar Verdé-Delisle as Fund Manager, as well as the recruitment of two analysts, Astrid Gouyric and Théo Pijoulat.
Aurian de Villenfagne joined Motion Equity Partners in 2022 after working at Marlborough Partners in London, where he was involved in financing advisory transactions. Prior to that, he gained experience within ING’s structured and leveraged finance teams in London and Brussels. At Motion Equity Partners, Aurian notably supports portfolio companies Résilians (the French leader in emergency assistance and post-disaster renovation services) and Banook (a global provider of data collection services for clinical trials) in their development. Aurian is a graduate of the Louvain School of Management with an MSc in Business Engineering and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA Institute, Levels I, II and III).
Pamela Duka, a graduate of emlyon business school, began her career in Restructuring at KPMG before joining the Private Equity teams at Bpifrance and later Ardian Buyout. She joined Motion Equity Partners in 2023. Pamela is particularly involved with Olyos (an international specialist in natural health products distributed through pharmacies, parapharmacies and online) and Banook. She also supports the team on ESG topics.
Oscar Verdé-Delisle joined Motion Equity Partners in 2022 as Financial Controller. Previously, he worked at HSBC and Equitis Gestion. He is responsible for the fund’s financial monitoring and administrative operations within the Finance team.
These promotions will enable Motion Equity Partners to continue the active deployment of its long-standing investment strategy and to support the transformation of French flagships into international champions. Motion had already strengthened its team earlier in the year with the recruitment of two analysts.
Théo joined Motion Equity Partners in 2025 after completing a first internship in 2023. Prior to that, he gained experience in M&A at Natixis Partners and Société Générale CIB. He is currently involved in monitoring the portfolio companies Olmix (a global player in natural solutions for agriculture) and Tournaire (a leader in high-performance industrial packaging). He is a graduate of ESCP Business School.
Astrid Gouyric, a graduate of emlyon business school, began her career in M&A at Amala Partners before joining Latour Capital in Private Equity. At Motion Equity Partners, Astrid contributes to the support of the portfolio company Olyos.
The Motion team now numbers 18 professionals and has €1bn+ under management, with a current portfolio of nine companies.
